The company’s legacy traces back over 250 years to pioneering firms in Basel—Geigy, Ciba, and Sandoz—that evolved from dyes into global healthcare innovators, eventually forming Novartis. In Pakistan, operations began in 1963 with Sandoz, playing a foundational role in building the local pharmaceutical industry. Over time, key milestones included mergers, divestments, and the transition to Novartis Pharma Pakistan, focusing on innovative medicines. In 2026, the company rebranded as Nouveaux Pharma Limited, carrying forward a strong legacy of innovation while entering a new phase focused on emerging market healthcare needs

A specialized Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound Workshop was organized to strengthen the clinical capabilities of healthcare professionals through structured training sessions, practical demonstrations, and expert-led skill development activities at Indus Hospital.
The workshop aimed to support capacity building in rheumatology and diagnostic imaging by equipping participants with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in MSK ultrasound applications. The initiative reflected a shared commitment to improving diagnostic accuracy, treatment planning, and patient outcomes in rheumatic diseases
A scientific symposium on “Dyslipidemia in South Asia: Implications of Updated Guidelines and Emerging Therapies” was held at the KIHD Auditorium, bringing together leading cardiologists, physicians, and healthcare experts to discuss evolving approaches to lipid management and cardiovascular risk reduction in South Asian populations.
The symposium focused on the growing burden of dyslipidemia in the region and the importance of implementing updated clinical guidelines to improve long-term cardiovascular outcomes. Discussions strongly advocated the use of upfront combination therapy in appropriate patients to optimize lipid lowering and reduce future cardiovascular events more effectively
